Danielle Aubert is a graphic designer who works as part of two collaborative projects, Placement (with Lana Cavar and Natasha Chandani) and I.T.U. (International Typograph- ical Union, with Lana Cavar). With Placement she co-au- thored texts for, edited and designed the book Thanks for the View, Mr. Mies (2012: Metropolis Books) about life in the Lafayette Park neighborhood of Detroit.
In 2006 her book 16 Months Worth of Drawingsin Microsoft Excel was published by Various Projects. She has lectured at Columbia University, The School of Art Institute of Chicago and Otis College of Art and Design.
Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Metropolis, Wired and Graphic magazines. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Virginia (1998) and an MFA in graphic design from Yale University (2005).
